Coaching and development for the people you can't afford to lose.

Purpose Coaching & Development supports values-led, people-first employers. Coaching and development designed for the senior leaders shaping change rather than reacting to it, the high-potentials being asked to step up, and the teams holding it together.

My approach is With Purpose — practical, evidence-based, built around four principles: travel with purpose not on autopilot; impact without damage; don't abandon yourself; meaning, pace and joy are prerequisites, not luxuries.

Four delivery methods: 1:1 coaching, Leadership Development Programmes, team coaching, and workshops. Coaching and development that turns insight into action — so individuals, teams and organisations work from choice, not default.

  • Confidential executive coaching for senior leaders and high-potential employees. Career and leadership are treated as one piece of work — the key questions for leading well are usually the same questions that shape a sustainable career.

Each programme begins with a chemistry conversation and a scoping call. Sessions are scheduled at the outset — approximately every two weeks, paced to maintain momentum without overloading the diary. Between sessions: a written summary with actions and reflective prompts, personalised tools, and on-demand WhatsApp support.

Coaching is virtual or in-person at Old Sessions House, Clerkenwell. CPD certification available for all coaching hours.

Here are some of the ways I can help your people:

    • Senior leaders shaping change — so they lead it with intention and bring their teams with them

    • High-potential employees stepping up — so they take on bigger remit with confidence, not just a longer to-do list

    • Leaders returning from extended leave — so they come back feeling capable and clear, not behind and anxious

    • CPD-accredited coaching hours with certification available

    Investment

    3-month programme:  £3,200

    6-month programme:  £5,000

    Monthly payment plans available.

  • For organisations developing a cohort of leaders rather than a single executive. A Leadership Development Programme combines individual 1:1 coaching with group coaching.  The confidential individual conversations build trust, recognise each leader’s context and goals, and the group coaching builds peer challenge, shared language and a support network that lasts beyond the programme.

Programmes are designed against your talent strategy, your OKRs and your cohort — whether the context is scaling, succession, retention pressure, or embedding culture change. They typically run over 9–12 months and include:

    • 1:1 coaching sessions for each participant, with a structured schedule agreed at the outset

    • Group coaching sessions for peer challenge, shared reflection and collective accountability

    • Optional skills workshops from a menu of five titles — sized to your needs, scoped to your context

    • Optional in-person launch and closing events to mark the programme and build the network

    • Pre/post evaluation against the metrics that matter to your business

Programmes are co-designed with you. Investment discussed at discovery — scope, cohort size and session structure all shape the proposal.

    Starting fom £1,400 per person

Cohort programmes are scoped to your context. Full investment confirmed following discovery conversation.

  • For organisations who want the power of peer learning without a full Leadership Development Programme. Group coaching brings together a cohort of leaders — across roles or levels — for facilitated sessions that build connection, shared insight and collective accountability.

Different from team coaching (where the team itself is the focus): group coaching is for individuals who benefit from thinking alongside others navigating similar challenges. Common uses include peer leadership cohorts, employee network groups, and cross-functional senior groups.

Programmes typically run 4–6 sessions. Each session is 90 minutes, with a pre-scoping conversation, facilitated delivery and follow-up resources.

    • Peer leadership cohorts — leaders at similar levels, different functions

    • Senior cross-functional groups — building shared language and accountability across teams

    • High-potential cohorts — structured peer support alongside individual development

From £3,500 for a programme of 4 sessions

Programmes typically run 4–6 sessions. Scope and cohort discussed at discovery.

  • Team coaching for senior leadership teams delivering change. The foundation is psychological safety — creating the conditions for honest conversation, genuine accountability, and leadership that staff can feel.

Engagements begin with a diagnostic: pre-session survey, optional DiSC psychometric, and a scoping conversation. Sessions blend group coaching, skill development and individual reflection. Follow-up materials are bespoke; accountability is built in.

    • Senior teams in significant change — leadership transition, restructure, scale-up — so they hold the strain together, not pass it down

    • Teams setting shared direction and ways of working — so accountability lives across the group, not bottlenecked in one person

    • Teams working through conflict or communication breakdown — high support meets high challenge

    Additional services: DiSC psychometrics. .

    Half-day:  £2,200  |  Full day:  £3,500

    Multi-session programme offers available

  • Interactive, skills-focused workshops for teams, cohorts and organisations. Content is shaped to your audience through a pre-workshop scoping conversation — not off-the-shelf, but not bespoke design from scratch either. Participants leave with models and tools they can actually use.

Five workshop titles, each available as a 2-hour virtual session on MS Teams:

    • Career development and interview skills — so staff can drive their own careers, and you have a stronger internal candidate pool

    • Lead with your strengths — practical tools for identifying and articulating what you're genuinely good at

    • Accountability — frameworks for clear expectation-setting, delegation and holding people to account without damaging the relationship

    • Presentation skills: messaging for momentum — so words drive action, not side conversations

    • Wellbeing and resilience — work/life balance that feels possible, not precarious

Extended sessions and in-person delivery available by arrangement.

From £1,750 per session  (single cohort, 2-hour virtual)

    Multi-cohort programme offers available.

Leadership Development Programmes, in practice:

An example of a Purpose Leadership Development programme: A 12-month hybrid programme with a health e-commerce client started with 19 high-potential leaders. It has since extended into two further programmes — bringing coaching to a further 27 employees alongside company-wide skills workshops.

“Working with Emma has honestly been such a refreshing and worthwhile experience. Having that protected time to step away from the day-to-day and really talk through some of the professional challenges I was facing made such a difference. Emma is kind, easy to talk to, and our conversations just flowed. She really listened and asked the right questions, and then gave me practical ideas and strategies that I could use straight away in my work.

What I have found most valuable is that the changes proposed by Emma  are not just quick fixes — they feel like lasting shifts in the way I approach things. I have come away feeling more confident, more focused, and better equipped to handle challenges. I’m really grateful for Emma’s support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone who’s thinking about coaching.”

Group & Team Coaching Testimonials

  • Working with Emma has been a truly transformative experience for our team. Her ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment allowed us to explore challenges openly, strengthen our communication, and build deeper trust across a diverse leadership group. This has been incredible, particularly as we've also experienced quite a lot of change in the leadership team during the same period. Emma has been responsive to our changing needs and invested time to really understand how to get the best out of us as a group. Emma has brought a wealth of insight, empathy, and practical tools that helped us not only understand our team dynamics, within a volatile context, but also take meaningful steps toward greater collaboration and performance. Emma's coaching style is thoughtful, empowering and practical —always encouraging reflection while keeping us focused on actionable outcomes. As a team, we've seen a noticeable shift in how we work together, with really constructive, supportive relationships built on psychological safety. I would highly recommend Emma to any organisation looking for team OD and coaching.

  • “Working with Emma on our senior leadership team's development sessions over the past year has been nothing short of transformative (for me, anyway!) and I reckon for the rest of the team too. She's got this knack for making things feel real and approachable, without any of the fluff. We got stuck into proper self-reflection and sorting out our career paths in ways that stuck, not just vague nods. It clicked with me personally and has been the catalyst for reigniting my spark and drive. Emma's guidance sharpened our management and leadership skills. What stood out most was her thoughtful support for building resilience and wellbeing, equipping us with practical tools to navigate high-pressure days without burning out. I'm genuinely grateful, Emma; you've reignited my drive. I can't recommend her highly enough.”
